Grace Society – A Mission of Hope and Transformation

Founded by Rev. Fr. Bala Anthony Govindu, Grace Society is a charitable mission dedicated to uplifting the lives of poor and marginalized children across the world. Rooted in faith, compassion, and sacrifice, this foundation responds to Christ’s call to serve “the least of our brothers and sisters.”

Grace Society was established to provide education, dignity, and opportunity to children living in poverty in India, Africa, and Latin America. At present, due to limited resources, the mission is focused on India and Africa, where the need is greatest.

Our Impact

Each year, around 300 children benefit from this mission. Through Grace Society, they receive:

  • Educational scholarships

  • Books and school supplies

  • Basic medical assistance for those in need

The Society also supports the wider community by:

  • Providing monthly salaries for 5 teachers

  • Supporting 3 dedicated social workers

A Mission Built on Sacrifice and Friendship

Grace Society is sustained primarily through the personal sacrifices of Fr. Bala Anthony, including his salary, gifts received through ministry, and funds raised through pilgrimages.

In addition, some close friends and generous supporters quietly stand behind this mission. Their encouragement, prayers, and financial support make it possible to continue reaching these children. Though often unseen, their contribution is a vital part of this work of charity and love.

The vision of Grace Society is not only to educate but to transform lives. These children are being formed into:

  • Responsible and educated citizens

  • Individuals who can stand on their own feet

  • Future leaders who will help others in need
